Yogaswara

Founder of Botline. Software Engineer.

I founded Botline to bring solid software engineering and practical AI to businesses of every size.

Today I build production LLM systems, from retrieval and embeddings to AI agents. My background is in software engineering for clients in Indonesia and Saudi Arabia, with a focus on backend, infrastructure and DevSecOps. I hold a master’s from ITS Surabaya with published research in AI.

Botline

  1. 2025–now

    Founder & Software Engineer

    botline.id

Botline makes WhatsApp chatbots fast to build, affordable to run and light to operate, with a working chatbot live in minutes. For anything beyond a scripted flow, LLM assistants use retrieval (RAG) and vector search to answer from a company’s own documents.

Visual flows, broadcasts and a REST API with webhooks sit on the same platform. I work across every layer: the Go and Python services, the retrieval layer that keeps each assistant grounded in its sources, and the self-hosted Kubernetes platform underneath.

  2. 2026

    Labbaik

    labbaik.chat

An umrah assistant on WhatsApp, built on Botline, for pilgrims and travel agents. It answers questions about rites, fiqh and prayers at any hour, from more than 1,000 pages of verified sources that include the official guides of Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Hajj and Umrah.

  3. 2026

    Tanya Peraturan

    tanyaperaturan.id

A free land law assistant on WhatsApp, built on Botline. For a sale, gift or inheritance, it estimates the taxes and fees, lists the documents and steps, and cites the regulation and article behind each answer. Regional tax thresholds come from the text of the local regulations themselves.

  4. 2026

    Mulya Husada Jaya Care

    Demo video, in Indonesian

A sales assistant on Botline for the medical supplier I first built apps for in 2016. It answers from the product catalogue, scores each lead from 0 to 100 and gives its reason, then follows up by itself: one message every five days at most, stopping after three go unanswered. It passed 107 of 108 test scenarios before launch.

Earlier work

  1. 2023–24

    PT PLN (Persero), PUSMANPRO

Lead engineer for SIDITA v3 (Sistem Digital Tagihan), PLN’s enterprise contractor billing platform, serving strategic project contracts across thousands of vendors. I also covered the Senior Software Engineer and DevSecOps roles.

I owned the backend architecture, Go microservices with REST and gRPC APIs and Python workers, and operated the platform on Kubernetes (K3s, Rancher) with Prometheus and Grafana. OWASP compliance was mandatory across the system, backed by the coding standards and code review practice I defined for the team.

  2. 2022–23

    Jatis Mobile

Senior Software Engineer on Coster V3, a multi-tenant SaaS chatbot product on the WhatsApp Cloud API. I built the Python backend services behind its conversation flows for enterprise clients, and used conversational analytics to keep answer quality and response times on target.
